• How to Register As a User

  • 1. Create a user account by Registering.
  • 2. Once you've completed the sign up process you'll be sent an activation email. Activate your account by clicking the link in the email. (It may take a few minutes for the email to arrive. Make sure to check your junk email before contacting the MyFarms team.)
  • 3. Login to MyFarms.
  • 4. Welcome to MyFarms!

• Create Your Producer or Farm

  • 1. Come back to this page or click the “I’m looking to sell” button on the home page. At the top of this page, click Create Producer.
  • 2. Fill in the required information and click “Create Producer” button at the bottom of the page.

• Set Your Delivery Options

  Once you have created a producer, click “Add a delivery/pickup option” (on your producer page) to let buyers know how your goods can be acquired.

  Delivery

  • 1. Set the type as “Delivery”.
  • 2. Set your delivery radius by moving the circle on the map or by adjusting the radius input field (in kilometers) under the map.
  • 3. Set your minimum purchase price (if any).
  • 4. Set your delivery charge (if any).
  • 5. Now add instructions for your customers. For example: “If nobody is home, we will drop the order off on the back porch.” You can also ask the buyer to enter additional information in the notes field when they complete their order.
  • 6. Set your delivery days & times.
  • 7. Click the “Create Delivery/Pickup Option” button to activate it. You can add multiple delivery options with different variables or locations.

  Pickup

  • 1. Set the type as “Pickup”.
  • 2. Choose the location on the map where you’ll have the buyers product available for pickup or enter the address in the fields below the map. If you make your selection on the map, make sure the address for your pickup location is correct.
  • 3. Set your minimum order price (if any).
  • 4. Set your pickup charge (if any).
  • 5. Add instructions for your customers. For example: “Beware of the dog!” You can also ask the buyer to enter additional information in the notes field when they complete their order, such as when they'll be arriving.
  • 6. Select pickup days & times (you can add multiple pickup times).
  • 7. Click on the “Create Delivery/Pickup Option” button to activate it. You can add multiple pickup options with different variables or locations.

• Add Your Produce

  • 1. Click on “New Product” on your producer profile page.
  • 2. Select a category. For example: "Apples".
  • 3. Enter product name. For example: "Red Delicious".
  • 4. Enter description. For example: "Sweet and juicy."
  • 5. Add a picture of the product. If you don't have a photo, leave it blank and we'll use the default photo for the category.
  • 6. Select any properties that are applicable. For example: Organic.
  • 7. Enter the unit size, price, quantity available, and sell by date. This is the format or package that you are selling to the consumer. For example unit size could be 21 kg if it’s a bushel of apples, or could be 0.33 kg if it's a pint of raspberries. The sell by date is generally the expiration date. You can add multiple lots to the same product with different sizes, prices, available quantities, and sell by dates.

  You now have a product for sale on MyFarms!

Share your farm or produce on social media using the share button provided on your product or producer page to spread the word!

Please contact the buyer to arrange pickup or delivery of your products.

Getting Paid!

MyFarms processes payments on the 15th and last day of the month. After a transaction is posted, the payment will be held for a minimum of 1 week. 8% of the sale is withheld on items sold, excluding delivery or pickup fees. After making your first sale you will choose how you would like to receive your payments (Electronic Transfer, PayPal or check).
